As a teen, I began to truly discover my passion for oil painting and photography. I’ve always been fascinated by the sky and clouds—their shapes and colors constantly inspire me. Capturing them in my work has been both rewarding and challenging Photography has taught me to be present and attentive to light, while painting has instilled patience and reflection. My work is a pursuit of the combination of these lessons. Over the years, it has deepened my appreciation for life’s complexities My work is currently focused heavily on national park landscapes. I have grown passionate about getting in touch with the emotional resonance of the American outdoors, and bringing that back to the studio - blending technical skills with a deep sense of place My studio is located in Minneapolis, MN.
